TV actors work day and night to make their show a hit and with the trauma of low TRPs haunting them, some try pushing their limits to make their character and show leave a mark in the minds of viewers.
One such hard working artist is the beautiful Payal Rohatgi, who is currently seen portraying the vamp Anam in Sony Entertainment Television’s Humsafars (4 Lions Films).
A source from the sets shared with us that Payal designs her own costumes for the show and also gives input for her make up to look ravishing in her first TV venture.
We buzzed Payal on the same and here is what the beauty had to say. “Firstly, I am glad that my character is not like the usual vamps on TV. Since the show is in the backdrop of a fashion house, I get to adorn some of the best clothes and the make up too is glamourous but very subtle.”
“When I met the stylist I was informed that I would get to wear this beautiful sarees paired with corsets and since I have a huge collection of corsets I decided to utilize them for my show. Also since I have been in the modeling industry for quite some time, my inputs on fashion and look do come handy many times. We work as a team and I think we are doing a wonderful job (smiles).”
Payal then further shared about her TV outing experience, “To be honest I had people scaring me how difficult it is to work in a day to day TV environment, but if you are an organised person and working with a good production team, I don’t think it is much of an effort. The only issue that I face is memorizing the long dialogues in a very short time (laughs). But I have requested the team to hand me the script a day prior to the shoot so that I can be prepared for the scenes. This being my first fiction TV project, I really want it to make it work. I am trying my level best, putting in all my efforts to help the character grow.”
Well Payal as they say, nothing worth having comes easy, so keep it going!!!
