Sony Entertainment Television, which is in the process of a major revamp in its programming lineup, will soon be launching its long talked about show, Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao, a show to be produced by UTV. The show will come close on the heels of a new array of shows like Thode Khushi Thodi Gham and Aisa Des Hain Mera. The serial which was about to go on air in January, is now scheduled for May and will in all likelihood, fit the afternoon slot. Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao ropes in two debutants, one being a cinestar finalist, Sudeepa Singh. Sudeepa, who has one Punjabi film behind her back says, "It's somewhat on the lines of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, the story of an ugly girl. Well, but here I am the girl who is disabled, left on the planet without one of my senses." The bubbly girl from Punjab is reluctant in revealing the story, "All I can say is that the story revolves around me, who is extremely confident even after knowing about her disabilities. The story proceeds with diverse circumstances coming her way." She is very thankful to Zee India's Best Cinestar ki Khoj, as it was a strong platform to showcase her talent. "I wouldn't have been here, without this talent hunt show, it has given me a lot. There were promises which were not fulfilled, but I am ready to overlook them, as it has given us rigorous training." She futher adds, "We all were like a family and it's really good to see all of them doing something or the other." Sudeepa can also be tracked in many ad commercials. This is not the first show she was offered. Sudeepa was offered Paalkhi, but turned it down for Cinevistaas' other production Sujata which was supposed to air on Sony, but which later didn't happen. "I did feel bad, as Sujata was a story about a Punjabi girl and I could connect to it. But I guess future holds the best for me." The new show will also witness Gagan Arya, who has done a few music albums. Sony officials say it's too early to comment on the new show. "Right now, we are concentrating on our new launches. The time slot is not decided," say officials. The show right now is on pause mode as they are on a break for a month or so, and will be shooting again soon.
