MUMBAI: Actor Dushyant Vora, who is seen as Gangadhar Paranjape in Jamai No. 1, says that it’s been a great year for him. He adds that he has been at the top of his game, mentally and physically as well.
“Personally, the year 2024 was excellent as I worked hard to maintain both my physical and mental health—both of which are much needed for an actor like me, especially being over 50. I believe in hard work and consistent effort, and I leave the rest to God. This year, I had the opportunity to perform a small but significant character in Main Atal Hoon alongside Mr. Pankaj Tripathi and in Rocket Boys 2,” he says.
Ask him what has been his biggest learning, and he says, “As an actor, you can’t sit idle. You have to constantly work on your craft. That continuous effort gives you confidence, which helps you perform better. My New Year plan is simple—I am currently focused on my show Jamai No. 1 on Zee for LSD Productions. Let’s see what destiny has in store for me as an actor.”
Talking about his goals, he adds, “To keep doing good work while ensuring both my body and mind remain healthy. And, of course, to make no mistakes! My advice to myself would be: Never stop working on your craft. I have no significant regrets this year—only lessons to keep improving.
To aspiring actors, my advice is simple: Have patience. Keep yourself busy and focus on continuously improving your craft.”
