Arshad Warsi skips DPL conference

Sony’s much awaited Dance Premier League was launched with much fan fare recently at a Mumbai suburban hotel. The media waited endlessly and it took a good two hours for the show to begin. When finally all the judges, choreographers and contestants met the media, one of the judges Arshad Warsi was missing. When enquired Ajit Thakur, Business Head of Sony said that Arshad had to attend a political rally. But we wonder what made Arshad skip this much awaited event and attend the political rally. A source informs, “Arshad was all set to attend the conference but he cancelled his participation at the last minute. We wanted him to attend the conference because it was a very important medium of interaction with the media and were a bit disappointed when we came to know that he is not coming. But we hope we manage to have him in our other interactions sessions”. So Arshad are you nursing political ambitions?
