MUMBAI: Salman Khan is a name synonymous with stardom and fame. He has gained superstar status over the years not only for his hit films and fan following but also because of his philanthropy and generosity to his fans and co-workers.

Tellychakkar is back with some exciting information from the world of entertainment and films.
While shooting Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, a man had approached the cordoned off area of the set, and began calling out to the superstar very casually, not stopping after being warned by others on set and the crowd gathered outside. After catching Salman's attention, the actor approached the barricade, stared at the man for some time, and everyone thought he was going to take him to task. However, he suddenly recognized that the man was none other than the AD of his first film, Biwi Ho To Aisi.
Salman graciously called him inside, sat him down, and asked him how he's doing. That's when he opened a file he was carrying, showing documents of a highly expensive medical procedure for a rare disease that his child was undergoing along with proof that he had accumulated ₹15 lakh for treatment, including surgery, and needed another ₹10 lakh. He assured Salman that he'd repay him with interest if he could get a loan.
Without second thought, Salman called one of his staff members, and soon wrote his old colleague a cheque of ₹50 lakh, asking him to return the sum of ₹15 lakh from whomever or wherever he'd have borrowed it, and keep the rest of the money, too, for any other medical expenditure that cropped up, while the spillover could be used for some of his child's education.
