Standup comedian Bharti Singh is on cloud nine after winning the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award.
One look at her comic histrionics and you know the award is completely justified.
Currently seen on Life OK’s Comedy Classes and Colors’ India’s Got Talent as host, the bubbly actor shared, “It’s been seven years now in the industry and receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke award is my biggest achievement. I feel blessed that I was chosen as the best standup comedian. A simple girl from Punjab, I never thought I would reach here! I owe a special thanks to my beloved fans for supporting me. I would also like to thank my mom for always being with me.”
The prestigious award was also conferred upon actors Shah Rukh Khan, Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Shreyas Talpade, Tiger Shroff, Rubina Dilaik, Jackky Bhagnani, Jaya Prada, singers Udit Narayan , Pankaj Udhas, Ravi Dubey, Rubina Dilaik among others.
