I prefer having male co-anchor than female: Rithvik Dhanjani

Rithvik Dhanjani

Rithvik Dhanjani’s blood flows full with copious talent. With an inherent voice and dancing moves, the actor continues to astound with his versatile prowess. This charismatic power house is only getting stronger and stronger with every project he chooses to be a part of.

Now, Rithvik will be soon seen hosting Zee TV’s upcoming kids reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz with Ravi Dubey.

At a press meet of the show, Rithvik spoke about the show, and more.

Doing India’s Best Dramebaaz was a conscious decision
India’s Best Dramebaaz is the first reality show which gave me chance to host and showcase my talent. It is very close to my heart and I can never go away from this show. I had decided that whenever this show comes back, I will surely anchor it again no matter what.

Waiting for the right script to do daily
It’s not that I have made my mind to do only reality shows; it’s just that I am waiting for the right script to make my daily comeback. I want to be part of the next show which people can remember till the end.

Pavitra Rishta is very special to me
Pavitra Rishta has given me name and fame. It is very close to my heart and whatever I am today is because of that show. From that show I have been associated with Zee family and have done most of my shows with them.

I prefer having male co-anchor than a female
Ragini Khanna used to get different energy to the show. On a personal note I prefer having a male co-anchor than female, as boys have more liberty to do anything on stage. And especially with Ravi who is my best friend, I don’t have to think before doing any prank or any funny moment. However, with a female anchor we have to think before saying anything as you don’t know how they would react.

I count Ravi as my brother and not competition
The only person who is very close to me and has always been supportive is Ravi Dubey. It’s been three years that we know each other and the bond has only flourished with time. I count Ravi as my brother and not competition.

I don’t agree that anchors are neglected in shows
Anchors are mediators between judges and contestants. They are there to connect contestants with masses. So anchors are never side-lined but are very important.

Bharti and Jennifer are my favourite hosts
Bharti is one of my favourite hosts. It is always fun working with her. I recently worked with Jennifer Winget and I had a great time sharing stage with her. On a very unbiased prospective I think Asha (Negi) does a fabulous job. Though we have never anchored a show together, as a viewer I enjoy watching her.

Not in a hurry to get married
There is still more time for me and Asha to get married. We don’t want to hurry.

Good luck Rithvik!
