Rudra Kaushik and Tripti Agarwal to enter Star Plus’ Mere Angne Main

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Mohit and Preeti’s (Charu Asopa) love story going kaput with the family members knowing of it. Now, Preeti’s family will decide to go and meet Mohit’s parents to talk about their alliance. Actors Rudra Kaushik and Tripti Agarwal have been cast to play Mohit’s parents. While Rudra Kaushik has featured in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Balika Vadhu, Ek Boond Ishq and many more, Tripti was last seen in Sphere Origin’s Gangaa as Barkha’s mother. As per sources, “The couple will be from a conservative rich background, who would have high ambitions set for their son’s future. And when they will get to know that Mohit is in love with a 12th pass girl Preeti, they will get very demoralized.” When contacted, both the actors confirmed their entry in the show. They have started shoot from yesterday (27 December) and their introduction will be aired soon.
