Parambrata to play psychiatrist in the movie Mondobashar Golpo

Critically acclaimed actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay, who wooed the audiences with his acting prowess in flicks like Kahaani, Hemlock Society and Chotushkone, is all set to essay the role of a psychiatrist in the upcoming film ‘Mondobashar Golpo’. Directed by Tathagata Banerjee, the film is a psychological love story, where the versatile actor will be seen in a cameo. Speaking about his character, the ace actor shared, “I am playing the role of a psychiatrist, called Sayantan in the movie. He is the friend, philosopher and guide to the lead girl played by Paoli Dam, a film maker. Apparently there is no romance brewing between them. They are very good friends." “This special appearance of mine will help to direct the movie towards the climax,” he added. When insisted to share what led a leading actor like him to play a cameo, he quipped, “Special appearances can be of two types. The first one would obviously be to appear on screen as myself, as Parambrata Chattopadhyay. The second one would be to appear as a character. In this movie I have appeared as a character.” “Of course this special appearance has left a very significant impact in the movie.
