Alisha out; Ishita to now romance Vatsal in Life OK's next

Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada’s next venture on Life OK has been making much buzz since the show has been announced.

Tellychakkar.com has constantly kept its readers updated about the Kolkata based social drama.

Tentatively titled Ek Chutki Sindoor, the show will feature Vatsal Sheth in the lead role.

Earlier, we reported about newbie Alisha Panwar (currently seen in Jamai Raja) making her way to bag the role of the female lead opposite Vatsal. But now, we hear, that Drishyam fame actress Ishita Dutta has replaced Alisha.

Our source shares, “The makers wanted to cast a known face opposite Vatsal, who will be able to pull off the character with élan. And Ishita’s performance in her film and previous television shows easily impressed the makers. Also being a Bengali, the makers thought she would fit the role of the strong Bong girl who fights all for herself."

We also hear that the actors have already started shooting.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get in touch with Ishita and Alisha.

We have also dropped messages to the producer Guroudev and the channel spokesperson, but have not received any revert till the time of filing the article.
