Emotional: When Mouni thanked Ekta for Naagin

With the supernatural fantasy based series Naagin all set to end next month, TV lovers have been left terribly sad.

The weekend show that raised benchmark in the TRP run was helmed by TV Czarina, Ekta Kapoor. Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan essayed the lead roles.

A couple of days back, the team wrapped up shoots and it definitely was a sad moment for all.

But amidst the sorrow emotions, Mouni took to Instagram to thank Ekta Kapoor for the show. And we must add it is one of the sweetest and poignant messages we have ever read.

“This is not just a thank you post, this was long overdue. Yesterday was the last day i role played Shivanya, one of the many characters she sketched in her life ,changed a lot of people s lives for better and no number of thank yous would ever be enough. Fierce , strong, self made, kind , happy, vulnerable, always standing by her people, a different individual is how i have read her in all these years. Netriyi , comes to my mind when i think of her, creating a fantastical world of her own! Ekta maam ( like I always address you ) in the first job you gave me till yesterday thank you for letting me have the quiet satisfaction of knowing that you believe in me! It means the world to me
