Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who welcomed a baby boy Laksshya via surrogacy, has spoken out about the journey. His heart-warming speech will make you go ‘awww’ too. The joy of a new parent is out of this world for sure.

Take a look at what he told media:

Bas baap banane ki ichcha thi.. 40 years ka ho gaya hu, baap banne ki jaldi thi so ab meri family complete ho gayi. (I have been wanting to be a father for a while. I am 40 and was in a hurry to be a dad. My family is now complete)

He also shared that his family was over joyed.

"I wanted to be a single parent. My son looks like me so I am very happy. It is your paternal instinct. I was mentally ready last year when I met the doctor. I owe my fatherhood him," he added.

Tusshar further said that while on a trip to Tirupati he met Prakash Jha who suggested this option.

"I didn't want to adopt so I went ahead with this. Industry ke sab logo ne mujhe wish kiya hai (The indusrty is happy with my decision). Abhi Farah se bhi baat hui (I just had a word with Farah Khan), she congratulated me. They have been very supportive," said the beaming father.

Talking about sister Ekta Kapoor, he mentioned, "She is also very excited. She has become a bua (aunt). Ekta is a June baby and so is my son, so she says that he's my twin. She got him the name Laksshya too. Along with me, my parents and Ekta are the care takers of the baby."

Although the actor did not reveal the date of birth, he said, "He came home a week back. You can meet him after three months, Let him get healthier."

Congratulations daddy!!!
