Aman Verma takes a dig at Naagin; criticises its special effects

Colors’ Naagin may have scored well on the TRP charts, but noted actor Aman Verma considers such concepts irrational.

Since Aman has been part of TV and Bollywood industries for many years now, we quizzed him if TV has evolved over years, to which Aman replied, “TV has grown in terms of reach and production, but it hasn't evolved. The kind of shows that are aired on TV right now are not worth a single watch. On top of it, you hear news about Naagin and bhoots on TV.”

He continued, “One day I happened to watch Naagin and I came across a scene where naagins were having a fight with a Nevla. The special effects were poor. And that supposedly was a number one show. This is what people want to watch and I can’t stop them. I would like to add that I have done a show Supercops vs Super Villains where we had dinosaurs and other stuff but the special effects were much better and it was shot in a different way. But at the end, it’s all about money and TRPs. I choose shows, which are constructive and help me to grown as an actor.” he ended.
