Cute actress Diya Mukherjee, who has acted in Colors Bangla’s Tumi Ele Tai, Aakash Aath’s Ek Masher Golpo: Bhrantibilas and is currently seen in a deglam role in Colors Bangla’s supernatural drama ‘Taranath Tantrik’, says that her current role has earned her appreciation. 

“Some people are failing to recognize me because of my look in the serial. But when they are eventually recognizing, they are praising me for my work,” Diya shared with Tellychakkar.com.

For the uninitiated, Diya is playing the role of Mimi in Taranath Tantrik. Mimi is the daughter of a businessman and is a college student, who gets possessed.

When asked if she was worried about playing a deglam role, she said, “I do not differentiate between a deglam and glamorous role. I accepted the offer as I thought this will let me experiment with my acting skills.”  

“One has to work really hard, both physically and emotionally, to play such roles. I am glad that people are appreciating me. Totada (Tota Roy Chowdhury) too appreciated my work,” she added.

Praising the talented senior actor, she also said, “Totada is a very good actor. He is very cooperative on the set. It’s fun to be around him as he enjoys while working.”
