Another TV couple calls it quits!

Looks like 2016 has claimed another victim in the couples' department. Because another popular telly couple has called it quits.

A leading gossip site has stated that Kavita Kaushik and her beau Nawab Shah have decided to part ways, following Kaushik's family's reservation against her boyfriend as he belongs to another religion, the site added.

Even though their affair was rather low-key, there were strong rumours about the two planning to walk down the aisle, but looks like Kavita has chosen her parents over her relationship, the site stated.

In fact, a while ago, Kavita had spoken out about her family's displeasure to a leading daily, "My father has reservations because we belong to different religions. It’s really sad that people are still caught in that web. Why do we have reservations about another religion that it stops us from absorbing its goodness."

The actress was recently in the news for walking out of her comeback venture Dr Bhanumati On Duty.
