Actress Smriti Khanna, known for her simple and Godly avatars on TV will now go bold!!
Smriti, who is the wife of actor Tarun Khanna, presently essays the role of Parvati Mata in &TV’s Santoshi Maa (Rashmi Sharma Productions).
And now the pretty lady will for the first time play the role of an alcoholic in Life OK’s Savdhan India.
Also, Smriti will take the honour of being the first celebrity to be featured in the ‘Celebrity Special’ stories on Savdhan India which will be aired during the month of August.
The lady will play a negative, bold character who would always be found in a drunken state.
When contacted, Smriti termed this ‘image makeover’ to be really tough. “This is the first time I play an alcoholic. I am usually known for playing the simple and divine roles. I was a bit hesitant when I was offered to play this contrast character. However, I wanted to try it out and it was indeed a good experience. The episode has been shot just like a film.”
The story titled ‘Love Game’ will be about ‘partner swap’.
