MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 has finally concluded, and after three and a half months of anticipation, the audience has their winner. Gaurav Khanna lifted the trophy, leaving his fans ecstatic.
Following the mega grand finale, the winner engaged in a candid conversation with TellyChakkar, where he spoke about his purpose for entering Bigg Boss 19, how he managed to stay mentally strong, and more.

When asked if he thought he'd lift the winner's trophy, Gaurav said, "Mai jab andar gaya tha, yeh soch ke nahi gaya tha ke jeetuga. Mai yeh soch ke gaya tha ke jab bhi show se bahar aauga tab sir izzat se utha rahega, jhukega nahi. (When I went inside, I didn’t go with the mindset that I would win. I went in thinking that whenever I come out of the show, my head should be held high with respect, it should never bow down.)"
He added, "Gaali dena tough nahi hai. It is just a word, woh bolne mey kuch lagta nahi hai par ussko na dena, woh ek task hai apne aap me. Gussa jab aata hai tab apni zubaan pe control rakhna woh power dikhata hai. Or I think woh kar paaya mai kyuki it's a mind game Or mai mind pe control rakh paya, baaki log nahi rakh paye, plate todte rahe. "
(Using abusive words is not a big deal. It’s just a word — it doesn’t take much to say it. But not using it, that itself is a task. When you get angry, controlling your tongue shows real power. And I think I was able to do that because it’s a mind game, and I managed to control my mind. Others couldn’t — they kept breaking plates.)
In the exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Gaurav also revealed that he was flabbergasted by Salman Khan’s kind gesture of appreciating him and even promising to work with him. He added that it left him teary-eyed.
Along with the shining trophy, Gaurav walked away with a prize money of 50 lakh rupees.
