After speculating over who would replace Kareena Kapoor-Khan in Golmaal 4, we finally have some clarity.
According to a leading entertainment site, when the franchise favorite Ajay Devgn was asked about it during a press conference for his upcoming movie Shivaay, he said, “I have heard the script but I don’t know the other details because I am tied up with Shivaay. Haven’t heard about this (Alia or Deepika in Golmaal 4) and I came to know from you about it. I have no idea.”
In fact, the other permanent fixture of the franchise Arshad Warsi had initially spilled the beans about either Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone replacing Bebo, but he soon denied it by saying that he was not aware of the final cast, the site added.
But it’s said that Alia is in the final stages of coming on board. If that works out, it would be fun to see her in a full-blown comedy.
Her last release was the critically acclaimed Udta Punjab. On the other hand, Deepu is said to be busy with her Hollywood commitments and Bollywood biggies, including Padmavati and Anand L Rai’s next.
