Things we liked about Sony TV’s Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka

Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka

Sony Entertainments Television had a grand launch of Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka (Kavita Barjatya Production) last night (8 August). And looking at the first episode of the extravaganza, we have come to a conclusion that it is actually a very grand show.

The series takes us to the good old days of Rajshri movies. Be it Prem’s innocence from Vivah, to close bonding of family from Hum Saath Saath Hain or the strict father Kishan from Maine Pyaar Kiya, everything has been mirrored in this perfect family drama.

Here we get you a low down of the things that we loved in the first episode.

Aryan and Sanchi’s first meet

The lead pair, Aryan (Kinshuk Vaidya) and Sanchi’s (Shivya Pathania) first meet was a hit and miss one but we loved it. The couple has already managed to find some good qualities in each other and an attraction has sparked. What lies ahead in this tale? How will they finally meet? We are excited, aren’t you too?

Family bonding

Kavita has taken inspiration from cousin Sooraj Barjatya, and it is clearly visible in the first episode of the show. The Hum Saath Saath Hain vibes is instantly felt when we see the family bonding in the show. Each and every member has their own personality. Seeing their love for each other will make you go and hug your family too.

Grand sets

When it is Barjatya, it has to be grand. The show brings in the beauty of pink city Jaipur. The houses of both the family Sethia’s and Mittal’s are proper Rajasthani havelis and we are in awe seeing the grandeur sets.

Rajasthani flavour

The show is based on two Marwari families and it clearly enlightens the Rajasthani flavour. The kajoris, family rituals, addressing your elders respectfully, everything seems straight out of a normal Marwari family. The research team has worked wonderfully well to be able to bring out the same.

Relationship goals

The perfect bond between parents and children has been portrayed in a wonderful manner. On one side a naughty brat is being supported by her dad, the other side, a cute boy finds a saviour in his mother. Their association will give us great parental goals. And we can just go awwww seeing them bond.

Fast paced plot

Lastly and most importantly, the plot has managed to keep us hooked. It hasn’t been dragged and every character’s introduction was swift and concrete. Also the storyline has been hit upon on the first day itself. This is a commendable step by the creative team and we are eager to see what lies ahead in the story.

Our verdict- We think this show will do great.
