SAB TV’s Chidya Ghar (Garima Productions) will go back in time to the pre- independence era.
The cast of Chidiya Ghar will enact the characteristics of British people. The story is a special episode on Independence Day where Babuji and all the Bahus would play characters which are totally in contrast to what they are in the present.
Aditi Sajwan who portrays the role of Koyal, said, “This time around on the occasion of Independence day, Chidiya Ghar is presenting the pre independence era where Babuji and all bahus are playing the Britishers who were ruling the country before independence and all others are playing the poor and downtrodden Indians of that era.”
She continued, “We are really enjoying this track. It’s a special story for Independence day and we're playing completely contrast and different characters with Victorian gowns , stylish hairdos, hats, gloves and distinguished but funny accents. This story will be immensely entertaining and I am sure our viewers are going to love it too. It’s our 15th August gift to them.”
