MUMBAI: Recently, Gulki Joshi spoke with the popular news portal about her role as Madam Sir's Haseena Malik and whether or not she will be in the follow-up. Along with sharing her experiences from the previous three years, she also highlighted the enjoyable banter she had with her team.

Recent rumors state that Maddam Sir 2 will soon be available on Sony SAB, and fans can't wait to see Gulki Joshi return to her legendary role as Haseena Malik. Gulki sees things differently when it comes to what the supporters expect.

Actor Gulki Joshi addressed the speculation regarding the hit comedy show's second season, Maddam Sir. She said that although she had heard rumours that Maddam Sir 2 will be released shortly, she was completely unaware of any confirmed news concerning the show's progress.

There were also whispers going around regarding her engagement with the upcoming season. Gulki made it clear to her followers that she will not be appearing in Maddam Sir 2, even though the show is in the works. The Maddam Sir actor also said that she had a great experience working on set during the three years the show ran.

Gulki Joshi warmly extended her best wishes to the entire Maddam Sir 2 team, including the creators and the new cast members. She encouraged her fans and the audience to watch the show. Even though the actress will not be a part of it, she acknowledged that the producers likely had their own reasons for not including her in the sequel.

Gulki made it clear that she harbors no ill feelings towards the show's makers, emphasizing that they have never done anything wrong with her. She suggested that there might be various reasons behind such a significant decision.

Additionally, she expressed her gratitude for her fans' loyalty but urged them not to spread hatred or negativity towards the producers or the new cast members. Gulki urged everybody to understand the importance of supporting the show and respecting the decisions made by its creators.

Gulki Joshi debuted on television with Phir Subah Hogi on Zee TV, and she later starred in Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja on Life OK. She also portrayed Sawri in Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman on Colors TV and Naina in Piyaa Albela on Zee TV. She also played a reporter in MX Player's Bhaukaal and acted as Devaki in the historical drama Paramavatar Shri Krishna on &TV.

Apart from television, Gulki has participated in several kinds of stage plays. She co-starred with Ashutosh Rana in the play Purush at Zee Theatre in 2019 as Ambika, and she also made an appearance in the movie Nakkash.

In Sony SAB's Maddam Sir, Gulki played Lucknow-based female police officer S.H.O. Haseena Mallik which aired from 2020 to 2023. Her next performance will be opposite Ankit Raj in the theatre play Pyar Mein Twist.

Maddam Sir is an Indian comedy-action show in the Hindi language that ran on Sony SAB from February 24, 2020, to February 18, 2023. It is also available for streaming on SonyLIV. Under the Jay Productions name, Jay Mehta produced the show, which featured Gulki Joshi, Yukti Kapoor, Priyanshu Singh, Sonali Naik, and Bhavika Sharma among its cast.

Four major characters work at the Janpad, Lucknow Police Station, an all-women police station, handling a variety of cases. The drama is set in Lucknow. They handle difficult situations with courage, insight, and complexity.
