Choreographer Geeta Kapoor shot to fame with the dance reality show, Dance India Dance. She is currently judging Sony Entertainment Television’s Super Dancer and doing a damn good job.

Talking about her style of judging versus that of the other two judges (Anurag Kashyap and Shilpa Shetty), she shared, “We three have a different perspective of looking at the show. Anurag sir is judging it like a common man. He also relates to the children. He is seeing it from a director’s point of view. I get to learn a lot from him.”
She continued, “On the other hand, Shilpa is relating it to her son Viaan. She starts feeling emotional sometimes. While I have done so many of it that I have become heartless. I tend to look at it technically. In my quest for the best performance, I tend to overlook the emotions of the kids.”
We asked her to tell us about the most memorable day on the sets: “It was when Shilpa got really emotional. I have been the most emotional one so far, but now I have shifted the tissue box to her side,” said Geeta.
When asked about the new trend of ‘Hook Step’ becoming famous through challenges, she stated, “Every choreographer is known for their hook step and it is not something new. Whether it was Saroj ji with Ek Do Teen, Farah Khan with the Hrithik Roshan song or Ganesh master with Chikni Cameli, it’s always been the hook step. It’s now that the social media has woken up to it.”
