Reports: Arnab Goswami QUITS Times Now
What could be termed as the most shocking developments in the world of news and infotainment, Arnab Goswami has resigned from his post as the editor-in-chief of Times Now and ET Now, Times Television Network. The news has created shock waves through the industry. As per reports coming in, Arnab announced his decision at the editorial meeting early this morning that included both his Mumbai and Delhi team (through video calls). Today (1 November), is said to be his last day at Times Now. It is said that he will continue to be a part of the TV industry and will shoot off his own entrepreneurial venture. A source has been quoted in The Quint, that Arnab in an hour long farewell speech, went on to say that his game is really beginning now. He reportedly repeated the words numerous times. Arnab started his career at The Telegraph in Kolkata. Within a year, in 1995, he joined NDTV. He later joined Times Now as its Editor-in-Chief in 2006. Often criticised for being judgmental on his news show, Arnab has a dedicated viewer base of people who love and hate him equally. He has brought a unique style to TV journalism and this development will surely affect a lot of people. Well, ‘the nation wants to know’ more about your decision. Where art thou, Arnab?
