MUMBAI: Before his journey on Bigg Boss 19 began, Amaal Mallik appeared on a special podcast with Siddharth Kannan in July. During the conversation, Amaal accused Sachet–Parampara of taking inspiration for Bekhayali (a song from Kabir Singh) from the musical references he had shared. He also called out T-Series, alleging internal politics involving certain artists.
Amaal claimed that he had created and shared rough musical ideas and compositions for Bekhayali over WhatsApp, which were later broken down into “elements” and used to shape the final track. Now, Sachet and Parampara have reacted to Mallik's statement.

Taking to their social media handle, musical duo Sachet and Parampara lashed out at Amaal Mallik for allegedly portraying them in a bad light by claiming they copied his song.
In the video, they said: “Hi everyone, we are Sachet and Parampara, and this is regarding something that has now become very serious. This is about Mr. Amaal Mallik. We never thought we would have to clarify all these things, but this is something we purely created. We are talking about Bekhayali, which Amaal Mallik claims he had made some time ago.”

They questioned why Mallik congratulated them just days before the release of Bekhayali. They also shared that it was Amaal who approached them, calling and chatting with them for hours.
Sachet and Parampara further took a dig at Amaal for repeatedly blaming the industry. They added that unlike him, they never complain when they don’t bag a movie; instead, they work harder and try to improve themselves.
The duo also demanded a public apology from Amaal Mallik and asked him to present proof to support his claims, or else he may face legal action.
