There’s one romantic story with Ram Kapoor-Sakshi Tanwar, another a feminine take on Devdas by Ken Ghosh starring Desi Kattey star Akhil Kapur. And another one that is getting quite a number of eyeballs is Romil and Juggal, a ‘gay’ love story.
As already reported by us, the South Indian-Punjabi romantic tale will star Rajeev Siddhartha (24) and Manraj Singh (Yeh Dil Sun Raha) as leads while Suchitra Pillai and Maninee Misra will play their moms.
Now we have name of another biggie who has been roped in to play a pivotal character in the ‘Romeo loves Romeo’ fairy-tale.
Acclaimed star Mandira Bedi, who brought ‘woman power’ on TV, with her portrayal as Shanti, will play an important character in the series.
Shares a source, “Mandira will be the one to whom the story of Romil and Juggal will be narrated to. She would be the one who would take things further in the plot.”
Our efforts to reach the actress remained futile.
Mandira, who is best known for her role in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, was recently part of History TV's India's Deadliest Roads.
