Actor Naveen Saini is working for a noble cause, and that is to spread awareness about the deadly illness, Cancer.
4 February is World Cancer Day, and Naveen has recently associated himself with Umeed 2017, which works for the noble cause.
MHRD (Medigene Homeocare Research and Development) is a trust which works for this cause from the year 2012 by doing free treatment camps every Wednesday for poor people via Homeopathy. From last year, they have started this initiative called Umeed. This year, Umeed 2017 will fight against cancer with art and culture, by conducting competitions of painting, sculpture, short films, selfie and installation competitions based on themes revolving around cancer.
The idea is to invite people to be part of this cause and make them aware that ‘Cancer is a painful disease and cancer patients have to go through painful procedures of chemotherapy and radio active therapies. With the help of homeopathy they can fight cancer with less pain.’
When contacted, Naveen Saini told us, “For me, it is an opportunity to serve humanity, so I am trying to help the cause as much as I can. Celebrities have their fan following, and they have the utmost reach. So if celebrities associate with this type of cause, more people will get awareness to fight cancer through this noble cause.”
