Readers, at the recent trailer launch of her upcoming film Durga Sohay, director Arindam Sil spilled the beans about her.

The director shared that when the shoot of the film wrapped up tears started rolling down Tonushree’s cheeks.
When Tellychakkar.com quizzed the pretty lady about the same, she said with an emotional tone, “I have never worked with such a unit. We not only worked together but also ate together. We shared many good moments. We got the feel of real Durga puja. And when the shooting came to an end, it felt very bad. It was really an emotional moment for all of us. Also, I have lived the character for so many days.”

For the uninitiated, Durga Sohay is a family drama with a thriller element set against the backdrop of Durga Puja, where Tonushree is playing a pivotal role.
Talking about her character, she said, “The name of my character in the film is Manasi. She shares a very special bond with Durga (played by Sohini Sarkar). She has a weakness for her and I can’t divulge more than this.”
In the film, she is paired opposite Indrasish Roy.
On Indrasish, she commented, “This was the first time that I worked with Indrasish. He is playing the role of my husband in the film. It was wonderful working with him.”
Also starring Dipankar De, Kaushik Sen, Debjani Chattopadhyay, Anirban Bhattacharya among others, Durga Sohay is slated to release in April.
