Never going to do a saas-bahu drama again: Karam Rajpal

Never going to do a saas-bahu drama again: Karam Rajpal

He is hot, charming and witty enough to bowl you with his words. TV’s hot hunk Karam is making all his fans drool these days with his cute pictures alongside his fiancee Shivaalika, making him the talk of the town.

After proving his acting mettle in shows like Nadaan Parindey, Karam is now vouching the popularity and success of his last hit show Mere Agne Mein.

While the show is coming to an end, Karam is unaffected by it. He speaks about his future plans post the show and his take on varied aspects in a tete-a-tete with TellyChakkar.com

Talking about Mere Angne Mein

Every destination has its conclusion. I’m pretty normal with it, you start a journey and one day it comes to an end. This is not my first show to finish; I’ve done many shows even before this. Although I was connected to the character but there are no sad vibes. The show itself is going to end on good pages. Currently things are messed up in the show which will get sorted by the end. My journey on the show has been great as well.

Karam’s take on reality shows

I was approached for Nach baliye, talks were on, however due to some last minute issues things didn’t materialize. There are certain reality shows that I don’t want to do and I’ll never do them. I would love to do a show like Fear Factor: Khatron ke Khiladi since adventure excites me. I’ve never really thought of Bigg Boss as such but it will depend on the cast, who all are getting inside the house and all of that.

Future plans

With Mere Agane Mein coming to an end, the first thing I’ll do is take a much needed vacation. A month holiday and then will get back to things. I’m heading to all destinations and figuring things out. Movies are a part of the destination. Having said that I would never do a movie just for the sake of it; I get into the role completely so I’ll only do movies if something substantial comes up.

Karam’s stringent NO to Saas Bahu drama

I would not leave TV for sure so I’m going to keep looking out for some good work. Mythological shows are a task, they are too challenging! But I would love to experience a mythological show. As of now one thing that I’m sure is that I’m never doing saas- bahu drama again. The male actors there are just limited as showcases. There is nothing left for the actors. I don’t want to perform for the sake of it. I would like to do performance based shows where I can exhibit as well as polish my skills. Nadaan parindey was one such kind of show. I would love to do something like that again.

Good luck, Karam!
