MUMBAI: Today (7 May) is a special day for Erica Fernandes.

The gorgeous lady, who is popular for essaying the role of Sonakshi in the Sony TV show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, rang in her birthday yesterday and looks like she is already feeling exuberant on her big day!      

While rumours have been rife that Erica has been roped in for Balaji Telefilms’ remake of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham titled Dil Hi Toh Hai, our credible sources affirm that the gorgeous lady has been finalized to play a significant role in the show and apparently, Erica will start shooting for the same from today.

We contacted Erica to wish her on her exceptional day. She said, “Well, I have no particular celebration plans but of course, I will be spending some quality time with my family and close friends. I have received gifts from a few fan clubs for which I want to thank them and everyone else for the love and support. I hope you continue to do so.”

When questioned about her association with Balaji Telefilms, Erica remained tight lipped about the news. On probing further, she stated, “I am not shooting anything at the moment.”

While we await the official announcement of Dil Hi Toh Hai and its cast, we wish Erica a fantastic birthday and year to come!
