MUMBAI: Film actress Nazia Hussain, who will soon be seen in an upcoming comedy film Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, has already bagged her next project. With a film on the doors to get released, the actress has signed another one which is going to be pole apart.
The beautiful actress, who won hearts with her performance in the Telugu remake of Aashiqui 2 - Nee Jathaga Nenundali (2014), has started prepping for an untitled project. Helmed under Shivtara Entertainment, the movie is going to be a psychological thriller.
According to TellyChakkar’s exclusive information, the makers found Hussain apt for the character and the pretty lady has even started taking MMA lessons for the same.
For the male protagonist, the makers have finalized actor Santosh Shukla. The actor, who hails from Lucknow, gained fame post his stint in the 6th season of the controversial reality series Bigg Boss. The non-fiction drama not just gave him popularity but also a mentor in the disguise of Salman Khan.
Interestingly a little birdie informs that the character was first offered to Irrfan Khan, however, due to certain unknown reasons, he couldn’t do it and then it went to Shukla.
The movie is directed by Amanpreet Singh Bevli, who will be making his debut on the big screen with this project. Bevli has been an AD in films like Happy Ending (2014), Go Goa Gone (2013) and such.
When TellyChakkar contacted Hussain, she confirmed the news but refused to divulge any further details. “It’s too early to talk about,” she said. On the other hand, the Jai Ho! actor confirmed the development and said, “I’m really looking forward to it.”
