MUMBAI: Acclaimed writer Zama Habib who turned producer for the first time with Nimki Mukhiya, is working on his new project.
Our sources inform us that Zama and his team is producing a new show for Sony Entertainment Television under his banner Qissago Telefilms LLP. Apparently, the show is based on famous family drama Sasural Genda Phool.
We have heard that the leads will play deaf and mute.
The casting for the show has already begun.
We tried reaching out to Zama, but he remained unavailable for comment.
Interestingly, Zama has penned down Sasural Genda Phool and other popular dailies such as Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saas Bina Sasural, and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
