Shobhit Attray and Sumit Malhan in Mahima Shani Dev Ki on Imagine

Good news for the fans of Shobhit Attray and Sumit Malhan. Shobit and Sumit, who are playing the characters of Ram and Laxman respectively in Sagar Arts’ Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali on Sahara One, are all set to appear in an episodic of Mahima Shani Dev Ki (also produced by Sagar Arts) on Imagine. In the episodic, Shobhit will be seen as a King and Sumit will play the role of a Purohit (priest). Now, we have an exclusive dope on what will happen in the episodic. The story will focus on chandra graham (lunar eclipse) which is believed to be an auspicious moment according to the Hindu religion. Hence, the Purohit will ask the King to take bath in river to better the prospects of his kingdom. However, there will be a twist in the tale. On the way to the river, Purohit’s cart will run over a Brahmin. The king will promise to take care of the accident and settle things for the Purohit. But later he will change his mind and pronounce a death sentence on Purohit. Shani Dev will not be happy with the King’s decision and descend on earth as a saint to teach him a lesson. Wow, it sounds great fun. Furthermore, the shooting for the particular episode has already started in Baroda on 18 December 2011 and it will end tomorrow, 22 December 2011. The episode most probably will be aired this Saturday (23 December 2011) or the next one (31 December 2011).
