MUMBAI: After the gruesome Pulwama Terror attack, the entire nation has come together to help the families of the CRPF martyrs. Some have donated money to the best of their abilities, while some have taken the responsibility of supporting the education of the children of the jawans.
Bollywood celebrities too have come forward to provide financial support. Mega star Amitabh Bachchan promised to donate Rs. 5 lakh to the families of those martyred. Dancer Sapna Choudhary, who was seen in the reality show Bigg Boss 11, too wanted to do her bit, but things took a different turn for her.
Sapna did an event in Ludhiana as she wanted to donate the money to the families of the CRPF martyrs. However, she was duped by the organisers.
According to reports, she was supposed to get an amount of Rs. 8,00,000, but the organisers gave her Rs. 6,00,000. Her brother has filed a police complaint.
