Article 370 of the Indian constitution is an article that gives autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and Payal spoke up about the removal of the Article and she suggested all Muslims to be evicted from Jammu and Kashmir, to which, Gauahar wrote and slammed her for her hate speech towards the Muslim community. Soon the war took an uglier turn as they started making personal attacks. Payal accused Gauahar of forcing her ex boyfriend Kushal to convert his religion from Hindu to Muslim.
Kushal slammed Payal for her negative comment as he wrote, “Maturity is realising lots of shit doesn't require one's comment, that's what i was trying to practice all these years by not commenting on things, but you know ma'am i'm humble with just a hint of tupac, I am a Hindu and i can say proudly that once i was in love with a girl and she was and is a muslim.."
He continued, “So someone is using a piece of article to wrongfully attack Gauahar, to spread hate n cause her harm! So although I Stay away from rubbish, this rubbish needs to be slammed! Accusing Gauahar of fake terms like #lovejihad is not only criminal but also a LIE! When two people are in love, they discuss their options! In all things like home, food, city to live, careers and faith! It's the coming together of two people! There was nothing wrong for us to have had any such discussions. That article also states how much we loved each other! Which is conveniently ignored by this hate spreading woman.”
Gauahar and Kushal met on the reality show of Bigg Boss and fell in love with each other, however, the authenticity of their relationship was questioned and if it was just for fame. Payal took a dig at that too. Kushal gave a befitting reply by writing, “We had a happy bond and continue to do that! N for any1 calling our relationship fake, the world's love was enough for us to know how they loved us together.N continue to love and respect us as individuals."
