MUMBAI: Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel were one of the most loved couples of the industry. The duo had met on reality show Bigg Boss 9, and sparks flew between them. After they fell in love, they took part in the dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 7 and were one of the strongest couples on the show. It was on this show that Upen proposed marriage.
As they say, not every love story has a happy ending, and this love story also ended. The reason is unknown. When the split happened, instead of refusing to speak about it and avoid questions, Karishma chose to be open.
When the ace actress was asked about the same, she had said that sometimes, there is no answer to what goes wrong. Two wonderful people or good souls are not meant to be together, and that’s what happened to them. She also went on to say that Upen is a wonderful soul and they had connected strongly, but things didn’t work how they wanted them to. They both wanted to settle down, but at one point, they couldn’t see their future together, and that’s why they thought it’s better to part ways.
