MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut is one of the most talented actresses in Hindi cinema world. A recipient of several awards, she is recognised for her performance in films like Gangster,Tanu Weds Manu, Queen, and the latest being Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
Apart from her acting talent, she is known for voicing her strong opinions. Kangana is also known for targeting several celebrities.
Recently, she targeted Barfi actor Ranbir Kapoor. And it is for the first time that Ranbir reacted on Kangana’s allegations against him.
During the success party of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana had said, “I don’t have any intention to join politics or an election campaign of a political party. Many people feel that I want to enter politics but that’s not true. There are few actors in our industry like Ranbir Kapoor where he has been seen talking in an interview that ‘We have regular supply of water and electricity at my home so, why should I comment about politics?’ But I feel because of this country’s people you are living in your luxurious home and you are travelling in your Mercedes so, how can you talk like that? This is irresponsible behaviour and I am not that kind of person.”
Now at a recent event, Ranbir in his response said, “Whatever anyone asks me I do answer it. I don’t have any interest in giving answers to these questions. People can say whatever they want. I know who I am and what I say.”
Earlier, Kangana had also attacked Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt for not standing by her during Manikarnika. When the Raazi actress was asked about it, she had said, “I hope she doesn’t dislike me. I don’t think I have done anything intentionally to upset her and if I have then I will apologise to her on a personal level. But, I have always said this that I have admired her a lot as an actor and as a person and she is very outspoken. It takes tremendous courage to be that way and I was not aware of this problem or anything. So, what can I say, I don’t want to upset anybody.”
On the professional front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, while Kangana will be seen in Mental Hai Kya and Panga.
