MUMBAI: Zee5 is coming up with the sequel of its popular series, Rangbaaz. Season 1 was a crime thriller set in the rustic background of Gorakhpur in 1990s. The actors who played key roles in season 1 include Saqib Saleem, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Aahana Kumra, and Ranvir Shorey. Considering the popularity of the first season, the makers have now planned to come up with a sequel.
The makers have already roped in some talented faces for the upcoming season. Bollywood actors Jimmy Shergil and Sharad Kelkar’s names were already doing rounds in media, now, according to the latest reports, actress Mahima Makwana has also joined the cast. She has recently joined the cast of the series.
Mahima is known for TV shows like Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh and Mariam Khan: Reporting Live.
