Adaa Khan gets candid about her latest music video

It was like a homecoming for actor Adaa Khan, who recently did a Punjabi music video. The actor had started her career with a music video, a decade back, and was happy to try her hand at the medium again. “Punjabi singer Dilbagh Singh has sung the song and shooting the video was a different experience from the daily shows that I do. I loved it,” she says. She adds, “It’s a groovy, foot-tapping track that encapsulates the high spirit of Punjabis. Essentially a party number, the lyrics are fun and catchy with high recall value. The peppy track is infused with the right amount of Indian and international flavour with a traditional instrument Tumbi, contemporary modern beats and Punjabi lyrics. The hook line has a special hook step designed for people to enjoy the dancing experience. The set design was a muted black and white backdrop and had a concurrent Disco theme.” Talking about her look in the video, she says, “There are two looks that I have in the video. In the first look, the Costume is a unique silhouette that enhances the curves of my body. The colours, black and silver were chosen in accordance with the glitz glam and disco theme and were designed to complement the production design. The eyes were enhanced to add drama and attract attention to the expressions. The high pony makes the look chic and sassy.” She adds, “The second look has me in a rather bold outfit and is designed to create an urbane, powerful and international high fashion look. The colors, black, and gold were chosen as part of the glam theme. The eyes were kept pronounced and bold to make the look feisty. The slick hair was let loose and flying to add oomph and sass.”
