From the promos, we get to know that our beloved actors Shweta Tiwari and Varun Badola are going to have an encounter… but will they come together as a couple? Debutant actress Anjali Tiwari looks promising and a breath of fresh air on television. Let’s see what the show has to offer…

The concept looks promising and very progressive. From the house of DJ’s creative unit who have been known for their cult classics, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan makes a grand entry on television on 11th Nov at 10pm on Sony Entertainment Television.

Fathers have always been defined on television – be it strict or friendly or goofy. But here’s a father who defies all these norms. Along with being a single parent, he’s a friend to his daughter, he’s divided household chores with her; is supportive of her career; fights with her whole heartedly and then makes attempts at pacifying her! An actor par excellence, Shweta is known for her performance! She makes a grand comeback after 3 long years in the role of Guneet Sikka – an optimist, independent and opinionated woman.
