MUMBAI: We do not think that the ardent lovers of television, specially the ones who have been fiction content lovers will ever be able to forget the magic Ekta Kapoor has sparked on television. It is not usual for someone to be so famous and creative with most of her shows ruling the roost.
There was a point of time when most of her shows were the ones dominating the television space. And among the many, the one show which made its way up to getting into the list of the most iconic shows in the history of television is the 2001 show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The incomplete love story of Prerna and Anurag was so loved by the audience that people felt deeply for them on a personal level. Apart from the main leads, the antagonists of the show shoot to all the more popularity. Komolika and Mr. Bajaj were the most iconic negative shades! Such was the craze that the producer planned a reboot of the show which launched in 2018. While Prerna was played by Shweta Tiwari, it is now being enacted by Erica Fernandes. While Prerna and Anurag's love story was much loved, people also found a liking to the pairing of Shweta with Ronit Roy who played Mr. Bajaj with so much elegance and sophistication!
While Shweta looked like a dream in the show, Ronit completely aced it with his salt and pepper look. Currently, Shweta is a part of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan opposite Varun Badola who plays Ambar. And it is once again that she is paired opposite a character which sports a salt and pepper look. Well, both Ronit and Varun look dapper in their respective images but we could not decide whom does Shweta make an excellent on-screen pairing with - Varun or Ronit!
