Gajendra Singh to produce Bharat Ki Shaan on Doordarshan

Producer Gajendra Singh is on a high these days. His production house is churning out one show after another on diverse channels. We have already written about its two upcoming shows on Sahara One, Ghar Aaja Pardesi Tera Des Bulaye (fiction) and Sur-Kshetra (singing reality show). And the latest information that we have gathered is that Gajendra is all set to launch another serial, its third, on Doordarshan titled Bharat Ki Shaan. Bharat Ki Shaan will be a reality show which will see 32 contestants from small and metropolitan cities battling it out and singing to seek glory, fame and victory. It will be judged by singer Usha Uthup and music composer Ismail Darbar. And Manoj Tiwari, will don the mantle of a host. Manoj was last seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss season 4. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Manoj Tiwari and he said, “I am happy to have got back on Hindi GEC. This is my second reality show after Bigg Boss. And as a host, I will be seen motivating both the teams.” The show goes on floors from tomorrow (18 April 2012).
