DJ's A Creative Unit's I Luv My India to go off air on 11 May

I Luv My India
Television industry is primarily governed by TRPs and the world of numbers is very confusing and uncertain. Sometimes, a show with a good storyline might languish on a TRP ladder and on the other hand, a “no soul soap” gets perched pretty high on the same ladder. In the year 2012, so many shows, even a channel, bit the dust, thanks to low numbers and lack of profit. And here’s another show, which has met with the same fate. Yes, we are talking about DJ’s A Creative Unit’s recently launched show I Luv My India on SAB TV. The show, which stars Arun Bali, Himani Shivpuri, amongst others, will go off air on 11 May 2012. “The channel decided to pull the plug on the show after it failed to gain the desired numbers,” said a source to Tellychakkar.com. The source also shared that Vipul Amritlal Shah and Deven Bhojani’s next on SAB TV, titled Bhai, Bhaiyya and Brother, will replace I Luv… The entire cast and crew will continue shooting till this weekend and then wrap up things. When contacted Arun Bali, he confirmed the news and said, “Yes, our show is going off air and it was good experience being a part of it. Unfortunately the audience didn’t connect with the show, which led to it going off air so early.” Himani Shivpuri shared, “I think a comedy should not be a daily, it’s better if it comes once in a week. But so far so good, it was a great experience to be part of I Luv My India.” Ayaz Ahmed also confirmed the development. So, that’s it… the road ends for I Luv…
