Fun gone wrong...rave drama engulfs TV personalities

Work harder and party harder is the mantra of young India. However, a few youth and some young TV stars seem to be taking this idiom a bit too seriously and are attending rave parties where drugs are consumed freely. The latest such unfortunate incident happened in Juhu last night (20 May 2012) where police claim to have busted one more such rave bash. Among the 100 guests who were rounded up by the cops included our tellywood’s very own Apurva Agnihotri and his better half Shilpa Saklani. They were marched off to a government hospital where they were forced to give blood and urine samples. It has also been reported that a well-known fashion designer, film actress and two IPL players were also picked up from the venue. This morning Shilpa spoke to the media and claimed that she was innocent. “Yes, Apurva and I were present at that Sundown pool part which turned out to be a nightmare. I don’t understand why it happened. I know we were not wrong and this is just a price you pay for being a celebrity.” Now, the TV industry, like the film industry, is becoming a closed group and has started to defend their co workers. Gaurav S Bajaj (currently seen in Colors’ Uttaran) shared with Tellychakkar.com, “Last night, when I left the nearby multiplex, I saw media and police presence at Oakwood hotel, so went there to see what the fuss was all about. I did not see any TV stars but saw four or five cricketers. Since the whole area was cordoned off, I left. Later, I came to know that some of my non media friends were also there and that it was just a normal party. They were subsequently frisked and were later allowed to go.” Well, all we can say is that party hard folks…par thoda samhalke!!!
