Hats Off Productions brings Remote Control on 9X. It’s a story of a middle class family and their simple life. They are very happy and content with life until the time a TV enters their home.
“The title of the show revolves around the story. With the ever growing number of channels we get restless and demand for more. It has a philosophy which suggests that you want more than one thing in your life. Life too is similar to television sets. We always expect more from life,” says the producer J D Majethia.

“The title of the show revolves around the story. With the ever growing number of channels we get restless and demand for more. Supriya Pathak who was last seen in J D’s Khichdi is back with Remote Control. “I accepted this show as the concept was interesting. It is the story of a middle- class family and the twists and turns that occur in their lives after bringing home a television set. And subsequently of how they get rich,” says Supriya.
Elaborating on her character she says, “I play the role of Baari who is a housewife and a mother of two children. She is the strength of the family and has inculcated the right values in her children. It’s a strong character who knows how to save money.”
It’s the story of the Babulnaths. They all have dreams and aspirations that centre only around money. They all lead content until the time a TV set comes home. Babul (Deven Bhojani), Baari (Supriya Pathak), Bunty (Jay Soni), and Bubbly (Mansi Parekh) play important roles.
