He has been part of many successful shows like Vighnaharta Ganesh, Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Khichdi, etc.
These days he is making headlines as he has entered the most successful and popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where he essayed the character of Rohit.
While he is already an established actor, within no time he has made a place in the audience's heart and has become a household name.
Well, apart from his stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the one thing which is spoken about a lot about his personal life is his relationship with Shilpa Shinde.
The two were co-actors in Maayka, the two were going to get married and were engaged too however, they called off the wedding.
In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Romiit mentioned, “Shilpa and I dated towards the end of our show for six months. We haven’t met in 15 years nor have we spoken but if there is someone saying something negative about her, I would not listen to it. As she says that she called off the wedding. I would always say that she is an amazing person.”
