Did you know Dilip Joshi AKA Jethalal's character in TMKOC is quite different than what it was actually written?

The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma made several changes in Dilip Joshi AKA Jethalal's character.

MUMBAI: Dilip Joshi is currently seen as Jethalal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. The actor has become a household name and has been a part of the show ever since the beginning.

Dilip had done lots of small roles in films, TV shows and in various plays before he bagged this amazing role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.

We all know Dilip's character in the show is quite an interesting one. He is shown as a successful businessman and a responsible father, son and a husband. Jethala's character is shown extremely happy-go-lucky even though his life is filled with problems. Also, he is shown as a complete foodie who enjoys relishing on lip-smacking Gujarati dishes. That's the reason he is shown extremely healthy or 'Khate Pite Ghar Ka'.

Interestingly, the characters which the writer Taarak Mehta has written for his magazine are quite different from what is shown in the serial.

Dilip had revealed that Jethalal is quite different. The character of Jethala which is written in actual is extremely different. Jehthalal is quite slim and not as healthy as shown in the show. He has a habit of drinking and is a bit short-tempered.

However, as the makers wanted to make Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma a family show, they made certain changes in Jethalal's character.

We are sure you must be imagining what if Jethalal was shown the same as his character was actually written. Fans would have a totally different reaction to Jethala's character.
