MUMBAI: Rashami Desai has been in the news for many reasons off late. However, the actress wants to now focus on positive things in life. She recently joined ETimes TV for a live chat session. Read on to know what she said.
On life after BB
A lot of things have changed. A lot of feelings about myself, there is self realisation. There is a lot more clarity in my mind now. Learn to say no or yes. Bigg Boss has taught me everything beautifully. At times we get scared or worried but Bigg Boss teaches you a lot.
On Naagi
It is a very hit franchise. A lot of people had worked with Balaji, I was the only who hadn't. It was a lovely experience but unfortunately due to lockdown I couldn't shoot any more. I shot for a few episodes, but due to lockdown shooting had to be stopped.
On being in touch with other BB contestants
I am in touch with everyone. On and off, I am in touch with everyone. I speak with Devoleena and Arti Singh. I think the only good thing that I have gained from Bigg Boss is Devoleena's friendship. It is a gift from Bigg Boss to me. You meet a lot of people but you find friends very rare. She understands me and I understand her pretty well. I love her fire and the way she is. The way she takes care of herself. She is very clear and honest.
On the first thing she will do after the lockdown
First thing post lockdown will be I am going to meet my friends. I am going to take proper precautions. I love watching films but I can't even think of going to the theater soon. I am going to take a lot of precautions.
On her career
I started my career with a regional film. Then my first show was Raavan, I was playing Mandodri in Raavan on a show on DD. I did Pari Hoon Main, India's first show which had double role. I was the one who played double role and it was directed by BR Chopra. Due to the hectic shooting schedule, I used to not come home for 2-3 days and people started teasing me Padi Hoon Main instead of Pari Hoon Main. Yes, the journey was definitely not easy. That gave me a lot of kick, if not now then when. Meet Milade Rabba ran for a few days and it soon went off air. Then I got Uttaran and it was amazing. I played a grey character. People loved Tapasya. It was a love and hate relation from viewers. In TV, I got the opportunity to play different roles. I don’t want to lose weight only to be a part of the industry.
