MUMBAI: Amid the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, many actors and people from the entertainment fraternity have come forward to help needy people. Some are helping by giving away money while some are distributing food to people who are starving out of hunger.

One of the best examples is Bollywood star Sonu Sood who has become a messiah in these testing times. He has extended help by arranging transport for stranded migrant labourers to ensure they can go to their native places.

Recently, Bollywood film-maker Sajid Nadiadwala helped TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s lightman named Sattar Sheikh with Rs. 10000 after facing financial crises.
