VVS Laxman is all praises for MS Dhoni, says his ‘calling card was composure, especially under pressure’; check Insta post

MUMBAI: Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the world's best cricket captains, having won almost all major international trophies. He has time and again won cricket fans’ hearts with his performances. He has an enormous fan following who look up to him for inspiration. 

Now, all the loyal fans of Dhoni can smile as today VVS Laxman has paid tribute to him.

Around an hour ago, he shared an old picture of Dhoni wherein he can be seen with his long hairs. Sharing this throwback picture, the cricket commentator wrote that Dhoni is blessed with the rare equanimity of viewing cricket as a sport and not a matter of life and death. “Blessed with the rare equanimity of viewing cricket as a sport and not a matter of life and death,” he wrote.

He further lauded the fact that Mahi could perform brilliantly under pressure. “@mahi7781 ‘s calling card was composure, especially under pressure. The 2007 World T20 triumph catalysed the stirring captaincy saga of a leader who talked through his deeds,” read the latter part of his caption.

For the uninitiated, a few days back, VVS Laxman had announced on his page that he would be paying tribute to teammates who influenced him immensely. The series has become hit among the fans and they look forward to his new post every day. 

So far, he has paid tribute to Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Sourav Ganguly, Javagal Srinath, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan.
