There is a very thin line to get the perfect drunk shot; it shouldn’t be over the top or under done -Rahul Sharma on an ace performance

MUMBAI: Every artist dreams to have an unforgettable impact on the audience through their performance but very few actually manage to do so and when they do, they are sure to move the audience and leave the crew awestruck. One such mind blowing shot was given by Rahul Sharma in his show Pyar ki Lukka Chuppi that airs on Dangal TV and his co-star Aparna Dixit couldn’t stop talking about it.

Sarthak(Rahul Sharma) was supposed to be drunk for this shot. Aparna, who casts opposite Rahul Sharma says, ”All of us had read the script beforehand and we knew it is going to be a very difficult sequence to perform for Rahul as there were a lot of intense dialogues to deliver and emotions to express. But once the shot was taken and the director called a cut, literally every one of the sets was crying. That’s how beautifully he had performed such a difficult scene.”

When Rahul was asked how he had prepared for the sequence he said, “The first and the most important thing I did was that I had pre-prepared the dialogues very well so I had to only concentrate on my performance. I also had asked the director to finish the scene in 2-3 takes or else the intensity of the emotion wouldn’t be the same. There is a very thin line to get the perfect drunk shot; it shouldn’t be over the top or under done. I kept all this in mind and the director also co-operated and I gave my best. The next thing I remember was that the whole crew was applauding and were in tears.”

Catch the romantic love story of Sarthak & Srishti soon on Dangal TV.
